My latest gig...
So, for those that care, I've been working the last few weeks for a temp-to-hire job, and it's actually pretty cool. (OK, it just doesn't suck like the toy helicopter or the mop-selling jobs) What I'm doing now is working a call center job doing pre-sales for a software company. It's not bad—I generate leads all day. No selling, no commission, no hassles… Just verify and qualify warm leads from a database, and send them to sales department. It's just kinda funny—I represent a software company and their products, but I secretly work for a call center, but I'm actually employed by a temp agency. It's like I've got three layers of separation between me and the public I deal with. Secret Shoehead, that's me. So the money is actually pretty good, and I can put every ounce of energy into my writing, my Herbalife, my getting in shape, and my Camp Shoehead 2.0…

Here's the situation. (No, not that momo from "Jersey Shore")
After a very inspiring an motivating conference call from my Herbalife leaders, I'm very determined and focused. I also got involved with a new opportunity to market Solavei--an unlimited 4G text/talk/data for $49, and I've had a modicum of success with that, too. I'm trying to winnow out the negative people in my life. Not abandon them, because I don't do that to people, but lessen their influence on my life, my moods, my attitude, and my endeavors. So, with all the aforementioned factors, I've reached the conclusion that I need to proceed at all costs, and do whatever I need to do do make my goals happen. I'm about to go back to being "5-Job Jimmy" until I reach the next level. This 'just-getting-by' crap is... well, crap. As much as I hate waiting tables, I think I'm gonna suck it up and carry plates for 3-6 months. I'll treat it like a sentence. I've been to jail--waiting tables is better (slightly.) I'll sock away every penny until I'm able to climb out of the morass my life has become. In the meantime, I'll work on all my other endeavors with a new sense of purpose. Here are my goals, by category:
Herbalife: I'll become a supervisor in 30-60 days, and have my own nutrition club in 6 months.
Solavei: They make it relatively easy an attainable to hit $1000/month, so I'm shooting for that by the end of the year.
Screenwriting/Producing: I will put the rap script into pre-production, and the vampire script second draft completed in 30 days.
Acting: Get my SAG membership back on track, and secure an agent. Get back into the auditioning circuit in 3-4 months.
"Whatever it takes" is my new mantra from now until these goals are completed. The next phase will be to begin implementing Camp Shoehead 2.0, beginning in the Spring of 2013! So, that's the Situation, and not the Snooki...
And, I'll finish it out with something kinda funny:

Not one, but TWO jobs!!!
This'll be a quick one, as I'm falling asleep on the keyboard. I was offered two jobs today. One looks pretty good, the other somewhat hinky. The hinky one, I won't go into detail quite yet, as I still put it in play. If it's legit, it's great money for not a whole lot of work, and I can operate out of my home. (In my chonies, if I so choose.) The other one is a part-time marketing gig with a commission structure that pays full-time pay if everything works as it should. And it should. The hours are so good, I can probably double-dip; and still write my screenplays, blog, and make Herbalife magic! Let's see how it all shakes out.
I started today out in a deep funk. And not a George Clinton-Bootsy Collins funk, either. A Sylvia Plath-Kurt Cobain sorta funk. But I soon shook it off, and suddenly heard tweety-birds chirping once again.
So, my dear readers, the winds of fate seemed to have shifted once again. It'll be interesting to see how things play out. The chonies job would be pretty sweet though!
